A week and a half ago...

... we took a mini vacation to visit some friends in Iowa.  We decided to leave a day early and drive up the Mississippi River Road to do some eagle watching.  We had a fun trip - saw several eagles and had a great visit with our friends.

If you look really hard, you can see an eagle up in the nest.
