Beans, Beans, the Musical Fruit...

Just for fun, we planted a bag of several different kinds of dried beans in the garden.
This is how they came in the house - looking like they'd end up in the chicken scrap bucket
This is how they looked after we took them out of the shell - almost too pretty to eat.

    Looks beautiful! That song, "beans, beans..." is the most recent one that he's teaching our girl :-)

    isn't that something? love this before and after...makes me want to not "judge a bean by it's wrappings" huh? ha! i need to get over here and read everything one of these days!!
