    Those are just about the ugliest animal EVER! I reached in the nest one time to get an egg and found a possum. I ran.

      Yikes! I probably wouldn't have ever gathered eggs again! :) The kids found this possum in the chicken house right before a storm. They shut it in and shut the chickens out until Todd could get home from work to take care of it. The poor chickens stood out in the storm looking pitifully into the chicken house while this fellow enjoyed the warmth and comfort of their home...
