We decided to celebrate New Years Eve on New Years Day instead of the traditional Dec. 31 since that was Saturday night and we were going to have our Sunday morning meeting at our house and we didn't want to have a house full of the grumpies. So, celebrate we did! We started out with a very nice meeting in the morning, followed by potluck with most of the people who had come. Pretty soon after that group left, Eric and Sheila and Ryan, Autumn and Lyric came for an afternoon of visiting, singing, playing games and snacking. Just as they were about ready to leave, Larry, Kyle, Loren, Kellon, Cameron, Annika, Quinn, Kendra, Alaina, Nora, J & J, Irvin, Harriett, Trea, Skylar & Tianna came for some more visiting, singing, playing games, snacking, rough housing, laughing, skitting (is that a word?), a little sleeping, breakfasting, horse and donkey riding, wood stacking, lunching, more game playing, more rough housing, lots more laughing, ... So the house was hopping. We missed our Bloemker family :( I'm sure we could have squeezed some more in somewhere! I sure am glad we built the walls out of elastic! The basement was full of girls, the boys had one of the bedrooms, and 3 of the couples had the other 3 rooms, one of the recliners was taken, Garrett spent part of the night on the couch and then climbed into the bed in our bedroom expecting to find us but woke up to "Grandpa and Grandma T" instead - they got quite a kick out of that. I didn't get the camera out for much of the day/night, but here are a couple of pictures.

Tonight, the house was quiet by 6:45!
Sound uber-fun! Happy New Year!
