I posted the sheep on craigslist last night and someone came and bought them this evening, so we didn't even have to go to the auction barn with them. So now, we wait for Lilac to calve. That should be our next bit of animal excitement. I guess it is time for another critter list so we can keep track of what we have.

Love calling the steer Cheeseburger. Our kids decided one time that if we ever had chickens, they would name them "Barbeque" and "Stir Fry" and "Noodle Soup" and "Fried"... you get the picture:)
ReplyDeleteCan't you just taste the nice juicy burger fresh from the grill when you hear his name :) We haven't ever named our chickens - except for the yellow one they call "Colonel Mustard" Those are great chicken names.
